The grandfather of rocknroll turned 90 today.  Amazing really!  His music might be my favorite of all time.  I am enjoying a glass of bourbon and listening to Little Queenie.  Cheers to Chuck Berry, and on a musical note Johnny Johnson as well.

New Chuck Berry music! Regardless of whether anything that really rocks is on the album or not, I am truly excited at the idea of hearing new Chuck Berry music!

    Happy Birthday Chuck Berry

Not many make it this far in this industry, not many make it this far anywhere.
Here’s to a few more birthdays from Keith’s biggest inspiration, and a new album too, wow

Keith’s still very capable of doing a good impersonation of how Chuck plays,  its just that these days he’s not so good at doing an impression of how Keith Richards plays.

this one is awesome. Mr.Berry is a loose cannon and even a guy like Keith seems to be a little bit worried when he is around him, maybe he is worried about getting another black eye 🙂

I doubt Keith fears anyone, but he probably has a lot of respect for Chuck musically , i remember in Hail Hail R &R,  Chuck got a bit jumpy around Keith after  Chuck kept making Keith try to play Oh Carol the way he wanted. In some of the books i have read on the early Stones Keith often took to hitting people over the head with his guitar.  I would imagine Keith has been quite dangerous is his coked up days too. He has that look in his eye sometimes, like he is mad, Keith is a bit mad i think lol.
