Great idea collecting these in one thread.

I think Zurich is the one to beat, but it may need further study.

Thank you Andrew 🙂 , but no “Mr D” in Barcelona 🙁 . I can’t understand why? This song seems to work well for the band and i guess many of the fan’s like it played live these days, i sure like it.

Mr. D was a nice treat and I’m sad to see it didn’t stick in the show. Man did they luck out with Shine a Light in Amsterdam though.

Oh yes Jasona 93, when i heard it the first time on this tour it gave me a real good Stones kick. Can’t understand why they don’t play it at every show, but i do agree, shine a light is a good one too and they played it well. I wish they could have played both at every show. Anyway “we love they” and we hope that they will love us too. Hope they play some more exile goats its only rocknroll black and blue gems for us 🙂

I was enjoying this one at the beginning of the tour. Probably it wouldn’t sound the same now. I’ve been impressed by the better sounding audio – not the bad-phone audio –  currently floating around the internet, from the No Filter tour. Girls, can I post here again without us all getting in fights? I’m saying it was my fault. I had a Sunday sermon planned over at the other place,  before I saw the flashing red letters, and bv went and hit the ban button. He’s as busy as I am. But he’s not too busy to hit that button. How many others has he banned now? Today he’s cursing “daemons.” Too bad he didn’t let me finish what I was saying. To him I was “enforced insanity.” And bv said: “shut your mouth.”  If he follows me here, to read me, he is obsessed, and it is he who needs a break from the internet.

No mr D. in Copenhagen either 😥 well here’s another Taylor mr.D. Why cant we get the El mocambo, some 1969 shows, or all of the 1973 shows or …….they know we want it, but it seems they don’t care

That’s a nice one, ‘Drew–hadn’t heard it before. More MT and more Nicky is always a good thing.

I’ve always been pretty ‘meh’ about this song. Kinda liked the dirty stinkfinger riff but it never seemed to really go anywhere. And, in my opinion, it is one of the first in a long series of 70’s vocals where I just no longer believed in what Mick Jagger, the singer, was selling. Seemed contrived, too obvious an attempt to reference the Stones dark, demonic side.

It was universally pilloried when it first came out as the worst lead-off song on a Stones album since forever. (Of course, after “Sympathy,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Brown Sugar,” and “Rocks Off,” how could it not disappoint? That’s a real murderer’s row of classic numbers to live up to.)

I was surprised at how many people thought it was awesome that they busted it out for this tour, since I’d rarely heard it referred to as a 1st class Stones track. But I guess just the fact that it’s a “deep cut” made it a novelty of sorts in the nightly stampede of warhorses.

P.S.: how did I only just now learn that Bill Wyman played bass on only 4 of the 10 tracks on Goats Head Soup? (Keith played bass on 4 tunes; MT on 2.) Is that a record low for Bill on a Stones album?

and No Mr.D in Dusseldorf 😥   And oh, what a lovely Jagger outfit in this vid. I have always liked this song but it is not one of my favourite Stones songs, not even one of the best from GHS, but i still love it, like Casino boogie from EOMS is far from my favourite song from that album but still i really like it and yes i would really liked to see CB played live nowadays but i know it won’t happen. In other words, me like to hear some more Dancing with mr.D’s
